Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Post Graduate Paramedical Institute (ZAB PGPI), Peshawar, was founded by the KP Health Department in 1998 and is officially recognized by the KP Faculty of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences, Peshawar. The institute is situated in a purpose-built campus adjacent to the Provincial Health Services Academy. It occupies a highly convenient location just off the Northern Bypass interchange on the M1 Motorway, right beside the OPF Housing Society in Duranpur, Peshawar.
The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including well-furnished classrooms, advanced laboratories, demonstration rooms, a museum, a library, an auditorium, and spacious examination halls. It also features an on-site mosque, a canteen, and a dedicated transport fleet to carry students to attached teaching hospitals for their clinical duties.
Additionally, the premises include a separate Administration Block that offers ample space for faculty and administrative offices. This block also houses dedicated zones for student recreation, meetings, individual counseling, and tutorial rooms for group study. To support out-of-town students, the institute provides separate, secure hostel facilities for both male and female students.

The Provincial Health Services Academy (PHSA) is playing integral part in enhancing and strengthening health workforce. The Academy runs BS & Diploma courses in various paramedical disciplines in Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Post Graduate Paramedical Institute, Peshawar (ZAB PGPI) and Paramedical Institutes of Medical Technologies (PIMT Swat, PIMT Abbottabad & PIMT D.I.
